Dishwasher Washing Flatware

Under normal conditions, sterling silver, silver plated, and stainless steel flatware can be washed safely in the dishwasher. Do not mix sterling silver with stainless steel in your silverware rack. The stainless steel can cause pitting of the sterling silver.
