Dishwasher Energy Saver Drying

Some dishwasher models have an Energy Saver feature. This feature allows you to use a no heat drying option when dishes are not needed immediately after washing. The convection drying employed by the Energy Saver feature effectively dries the load naturally, but it requires leaving the dishes in the dishwasher for a longer period of time (ex. overnight). This feature saves the electrical energy used by the heater during the dry cycle.

The timer dial (on models so equipped) will continue to advance to OFF when using this feature as long as the door remains in the locked position.
