Benefit of the ERC Oven Control

The ERC (Electronic Range Control) is an electronic clock and oven control, all in one, found on many gas and electric GE Appliances ranges. It has proven to be extremely reliable.

The ERC offers:

• Easy to set 3 1/2 hour self-clean cycle
• Hi-Lo broil control (450 degrees on low and 550 degrees on high)
• Minute/second timer operating independent of the other controls (It will count down a total of 9 hours and 50 minutes.)
• The timer works in 5 and 10 second increments.
• Key tones, (beeps) that can be turned off if desired, by holding down the cancel button for 3 seconds 3 "beeps" at the end of the time bake cycle
• Capability of adjusting oven temperature up or down 35 degrees
• Delayed cooking time
• Temperature range from 170-550 degrees, adjustable in 5 degree increments.

Note: If there is a power failure, any cooking or timer function on the clock will need to be reset. The clock will come back on flashing the time that the power went out. Download a copy of the Owner's Manual and/or Installation Instructions.
