Cleaning Surfaces on Vents and Hoods

Cleaning Painted Steel and Brushed Chrome:

Clean with warm detergent solution (one teaspoon of ammonia may be added to the water.) Wash, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cloth, soap filled pad, or scouring powder.

Cleaning Stainless Steel: Clean with a warm detergent solution. Wash, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, steel wool pads, bleach, ammonia or scouring powder.

Note: Do not touch the lamp bulb with moist hands or cloths when cleaning the hood surfaces. A warm or hot lamp bulb may break if touched with a moist surface. Always let the lamp cool completely before cleaning around it.
