Compactor - Automatic Anti-Jam Feature on Models GCG1200S and GCG1230S
The 15" Drawer Compactors, model numbers GCG1200S and 1230S have an automatic anti-jam feature.
If the ram is going down and is forced too far to either side, an anti-jam switch engages and automatically reverses the motor. This action pulls the ram back up, and will prevent jamming. You may then reposition any large objects in the bucket before restarting the process.
