Microwave Auto Defrost Problems

If The Microwave Will Not Accept Weight Input:

 

• Check the weight chart in the Owner's Manual that accompanied your microwave. The weight should not exceed the maximum or minimum for that food. 

If the Display Reads "Turn":

 

• Open the door and turn the food or container. On some models, the light and the fan will be on at this time but no microwaves are penetrating the food.

If the Food Has Warm Areas That Have Started To Cook:

 

• Recheck the defrosting instructions. You must turn the food at suggested times. If you used the conversion chart in the Owner's Manual, make sure that they converted their ounces to tenths of pounds.
