Microwave - DualWave II Cooking System
The DualWave II Cooking System is a technology that was used in microwaves in the past. This particular microwaving system is not used in modern microwaves made today.
DualWave II Cooking System Design In a Microwave
The DualWave II Cooking System distributes microwave energy to both the top and bottom of the food through the use of a rotating antenna. Energy enters the bottom of the food primarily through a radiating slot at one end of the antenna.
Energy radiating from the opposite end of the antenna reflects off the walls and the roof of the oven to cook the top of the food. This exciting system from GE Appliances surrounds your food in microwave energy, resulting in good, fast cooking results. The DualWave II antenna is below the glass floor that you set your food on. Microwaves pass easily through this glass floor.
The models that offered the DualWave II Cooking System were the following: JE1415, 1425, 1435, 1445, 1455, 1465 JHP62VK, JHP69GK, JHP69VK, JHP70VK JKP62GK, JKP68GK, JKP78GK RH962VK, RK962GK
Note: The antenna is unable to be seen.
