Breakage of Microwave Glass Floors
In the past, microwaves had glass floors instead of a turntable. If the floor of a microwave cracks or breaks, we recommend that you contact a qualified GE Appliance technician for repair. The microwave cavities are "tuned" to a specific size and shape for the cooking wattage provided. Therefore, we do not recommend you to operate a microwave without this glass floor (or the glass turntable on turntable models). Most microwave floors are siliconed into the case and should be replaced by a qualified GE Appliance technician.
