Microwave "Use Probe" Showing on Display

Many convection microwaves come with a cooking probe. If the microwave oven displays "Use Probe" or "Probe," make sure that the probe is placed in the food and is connected into the wall at the receptacle end. The probe should be 3/4 of the way into the food. Meats should weigh no less than 2½ pounds.

If the probe is properly set, and the food temperature is above 10 degrees Fahrenheit, but the display still reads "Use Probe" on the display, contact service and indicate that you probably have a problem with a probe or a wiring defect. For information on setting the Probe feature, consult your Owner's Manual.
