Microwave Defrosting Casseroles
The following can be used as a general guideline for defrosting casserole-type dishes:
- Shallow dishes defrost easier and should be no larger than 2 quarts (8 cups).
- Covering is recommended for better results. Lids, wax paper, paper towels, and similar covers may be used.
- Stirring or rotating the food halfway through the defrost cycle is recommended.
- Consult the Owner's Manual or microwave cookbooks for more specifics.
