Microwave Child Lockout Feature

You may lock the control panel to prevent the microwave from being accidentally started or used by children. 

To lock the control:

Press and hold the clear/off pad for about 3 seconds. The display will show "lock" and will then return to the time of day. A small "L" will be displayed to remind you that the control panel is locked. The display will show "lock" if anyone tries to use the microwave. On some models, you press and hold the "5" and "7" pads simultaneously for three seconds.

• The locked mode will be maintained after power disconnection in some models, but not all.

To unlock the control:

Press and hold the clear/off pad for about three seconds. Or on some models you press and hold the "5" and "7" simultaneously for three seconds.
