Microwaves and Radio or TV Interference

Some television or radio interference may be noticed while using the microwave oven. It is similar to the interference caused by other small appliances and does not indicate a problem with the oven. The reason that some microwaves cause this and others do not has to do with manufacturing locations, types of controls and the shielding of the controls in the units.
