Microwave - Clock Display On/Off Feature

Some Over-the-Range microwave models offer a Display On/Off feature. This enables you to turn the Clock display on or off. To do this, you press and hold the Display On/Off pad on the control panel for about 3 seconds. The Display On/Off feature cannot be used while a cooking feature is in use. This just turns the Clock on or off in the display.

 

Some Countertop microwave models have a Clock Display pad. This pad is used to turn the Clock display on or off. Just like the Display On/Off feature, it cannot be used while a cooking feature is in use.

 

Only some microwaves offer the feature to have the Clock display on or off. For models that have this feature, it will be listed in the Specs & Details for the model and you can look at the control panel to see if it has the Display On/Off or Clock Display pad.

Some older Over-the-Range microwave models such as the JVM1650 and JVM1660 series had a Display On/Off feature. In order to turn the display on or off on these models, you press and hold the number 0 pad for about 3 seconds.
