GE Appliance - Resetting Your Circuit Breaker

Should you have an appliance in your home that suddenly seems to be dead, it may be that the power supply to the appliance is off. Sometimes a circuit breaker in your home's breaker box will trip. If this happens, there will appear to be no power to the appliance.

Resetting the Circuit Breaker for an Appliance

  • Reset the breaker by turning it off, then back on again.

  • If you have a 220/240V double breaker, it can partially trip and still appear to be on. Turn the breaker off and on to reset.

Repair Service Recommended

If the breaker keeps tripping when the appliance is on, then we recommend having service. Should you require service for your appliance, please schedule a repair appointment with Bodewell.
