Dishwasher Torn Door Gasket

If the gasket is damaged at the top of the door only, it is most likely due to the metal latch keeper rubbing against the gasket.

 

To correct: The metal piece under the cabinet must be bent upward to keep it from damaging the gasket. By bending the metal piece slightly it will keep it from hitting the gasket.
