Dishwasher Corner Baffles

There are 2 black rubber baffles (also known as gaskets) on some models in the front corners of the dishwasher tub to prevent leakage at the bottom corners of the door.

 

They fit in only one way, so it is important that the right and left pieces are placed in the correct corners. In some models, they are labeled L and R for left and right. If this baffle has become soiled, remove, wash and re-seat in its proper position.

If the baffles shrink (due to age and hot water) they should be replaced to prevent leaking at the corners of the dishwasher. Purchase a GE Appliance part or accessory online
