Dishwasher - Explanation of Heated Dry Cycles
Most dishwashers feature a Heated Dry option for most wash cycles on the dishwasher. For models with a Rinse cycle option, Heated Dry cannot be used with the Rinse cycle.
Understanding the Use of the Heated Dry Option on a Dishwasher
The Heated Dry option turns the heater on for fast drying. This cycle will extend the time of your wash cycle by approximately thirty minutes or longer on most models.
You may choose to use a "natural" dry method also known as Energy Saver dry. Do this by opening the door at the end of the final rinse (when the motor stops) or allow the dishes to remain in the dishwasher overnight.
