Range & Wall Oven - Operation of Oven If Door Window Is Broken or Cracked

We do not recommend the use of the oven if the inside or outside of the window in the door is broken or cracked. While it may not greatly affect the internal oven temperatures, it will cause a safety issue with the oven door.

Using a Range or Wall Oven When the Oven Door Window Is Cracked

• With the oven window broken or cracked, more heat is exposed to the other glass in the door and this could cause it to break.

• It is safe to use surface burners on a Range when the oven window is broken or cracked.
