Vent Hood - Control Locations
Following are the locations of the controls on most vent hoods. View our current Range Hoods & VentsUnder Cabinet Hoods
- Controls are on the front edge of the hood and are visible.
- Usually in the center, but can be on the left or right corners on some models.
High Performance, Performance, Designer Hoods (Chimney & Canopy), and Custom Hood Inserts
- Controls are hidden, and are located underneath to allow for seamless appearance.
- They are located center of the hood, up front, underneath.
Slide-Out Hoods
- Hood is in the OFF position when the glass visor is pushed in completely.
- Pulling the visor out starts the blower. See manual for complete instructions.
Telescopic Downdraft System
- Uses a selector switch to turn the blower on and off.
- Downdraft system must be raised to work the blower. See use and care for complete instructions.
