Harmony Washer Not Enough Water

The Harmony washer uses load sensing and adaptive water fill to provide just the right amount of water for best performance and low water usage. The water may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal operation for low water usage machines.

The water fill is optimized by the system for best wash performance. Low sudsing (High Efficiency) detergent such as Tide HE is recommended best performance and to prevent sudsing or soap residue on clothes.

The following steps can be used to check the water level of the washer:

  1. Empty the tub
  2. Close the lid of the washer
  3. Press "Special cycles"
  4. Press "Blankets (cotton)"
  5. Do not open the lid until 3 minutes after the water turns off. The screen will display "1:05 washing" when the lid should be opened.
  6. Check water level.

The water level should be approximately 2 inches of the second row of holes from the top of the tub. If the water level is not correct when checked, we recommend that you have the washer checked by a service technician. For service, please schedule an appointment with Bodewell.
