Gas Range Air in Gas Line

If the burners are spitting and the flame size varies:The first time the burners are turned on they may make a spitting noise and flame size may vary. This is normal due to air in the gas line and should go away in a few minutes.

 

 

 

If there is no flame in the oven:The first time the oven is turned on, it may take up to ten minutes before the flame is visible inside the oven cavity. This is normal due to air in the gas line.
