Checking the Gas Regulator on Range

If the oven will not heat, check the main gas regulator on the gas line connecting to the cooktop to be sure it has not been switched to the OFF position. The range is shipped with the regulator in the ON position but it is possible it may have been bumped or jarred to the OFF position during installation.

 

You can find the gas regulator behind the storage drawer. Do not remove the regulator without a plumber or qualified installer.
