Gas Range - Checking the Gas Regulator

All gas ranges have a gas regulator. You must use the gas pressure regulator that is included with the range.

Checking the Gas Pressure Regulator on a Gas Range

If the oven will not heat, check the main gas regulator on the gas line connecting to the range to be sure it has not been switched to the OFF position. The range is shipped with the regulator in the ON position but it is possible it may have been bumped or jarred to the OFF position during installation.

You can find the gas regulator behind the storage drawer. Do not remove the regulator without a plumber or qualified installer.
