Refrigerator - Dispenser Takes Too Long to Dispense Ice

If the ice dispenser takes too long to dispense ice:

 

• The less ice that is present in the bucket, the longer it will take to dispense. As the bucket fills with ice, the dispenser will work faster.
• The cradle may have to be held in for several seconds in order to fill a glass with ice. This should not harm the dispenser.
• Check to make sure the ice cubes have not clumped in the bucket. If they have, they will not dispense properly. Gently break up the cubes or throw away the clumps.
