Dishwasher - Installation Next to a Range or Wall Oven
There may be a need to install a Dishwasher next to a Range or Wall Oven in a kitchen. This may be due to space constraints or a kitchen design layout decision. Whatever the reason, we are glad to provide guidance.
Installing a Dishwasher Next to a Range or Wall Oven
- A Dishwasher can be installed next to a Free-Standing, Slide-In or Drop-In Range as long as there is at least 2" of clearance between the two appliances. The 2" clearance is needed for heat dissipation.
- A Dishwasher should not be installed directly next to a Wall Oven that is installed under the counter. There should be at least 24" of space between the two appliances.
