Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Food Freezing

Placing large items or hot/warm food next to the thermister blocks the airflow to the thermister which gives it false air temperature. This can cause food to freeze especially on the top refrigerator shelf.

The thermister is typically located on the top left side of the refrigerator cabinet. It looks like a dome shaped plastic capsule with slats on it. Moving those items 6 inches away from the thermister should improve temperature consistency.
