Vent Hood - Maximum Installation Height

When looking at the Installation Instructions for a Vent Hood, we typically list a required minimum and recommended maximum height from the cooking surface below. The maximum height is a recommendation, not a requirement.

Understanding the Maximum Height Recommendation for a Vent Hood

Our Installation Instructions list a minimum installation height for the vent hood when it is installed over a cooking surface. Although we do not have a maximum installation height for a hood, the higher it is installed, the more the efficiency starts to decrease. Consult the Installation Instructions for your specific model for complete installation details.
