Refrigerator - Dispenser Ice Spray Kit

When dispensing ice, especially crushed ice, from the dispenser on a Refrigerator, some ice spraying may occur. Holding the glass closer to the ice chute opening helps to reduce any spraying ice. We do offer a dispenser ice spray kit, should you need one. The dispenser ice spray kit reduces the amount of ice spraying that occurs when dispensing ice through the chute. This will only work on 2001 and newer models with the tall dispenser (all have tall dispenser).

Using the Dispenser Ice Spray Kit

The kit consists of a collar that snaps onto the outside of the ice funnel. It serves as an extension of the ice funnel.

The part number for the Refrigerator Dispenser Funnel Extension Black is WR49X10076. It is only available in the black color. This can be purchased from our GE Appliances Parts & Accessories website.
