Over-the-Range Microwave - Installation Kit for 15" Deep Cabinets

Over-the-Range Microwaves should be installed in a 12" minimum to 13" maximum deep cabinet. In order to install an Over-the-Range Microwave under a deeper cabinet such as 14", 15", or 16" deep, a Bump Out Kit is required. The Bump Out Kit is a wall bracket that extends the Microwave forward by 3".

Installing an Over-the-Range Microwave Using a Bump Out Kit

We currently offer the Bump Out Kit in two colors, black and white. The part numbers are:

• JX15BUMPBB - Black (Use for Black and Stainless models)
• JX15BUMPWW - White

The approximate dimensions of JX15BUMPBB/WW are 30" Wide x 16.25" High x 3" Deep.

If venting out the rear, an adapter that extends from the back of the Over-the-Range Microwave to the vent area in the wall is needed. These adapters are available through hardware/home improvement stores but there will be some manual work involved in order to connect it properly.
