Dishwasher - Washing Wood Utensils

Because wood may warp, crack or lose its finish with ordinary hand washing, there is a possibility this might happen more quickly in a dishwasher. If placing a wooden spoon in the silverware basket, make sure it is not placed where it can interfere with the upper rack movement or upper rack spray arm.
