Portable Dishwasher Wood Top Care

Every day cleaning for portable dishwashers with a wood top:

1. Wipe well with a dry cloth to remove surface dust.
2. Wash with warm water and mild detergent using a damp cloth.
3. Dry the surface with a clean, dry cloth.

To remove water stains:

• Rub with a cloth saturated with non-toxic mineral oil.
• Should your top become too stained, dirty or cut: Sand with #000 or #0000 steel wool and then wipe with a cloth saturated non-toxic mineral oil.

Other tips:

• GE does NOT recommend using wood top as a cutting board!
• Wood tops should not be used as a place for thawing frozen foods, even when protected by a sheet of aluminum foil.
• Never let water stand on the wood top.
