Proper Order To Install Water Systems

There is a specific order for installing a whole-house filter, water softener, and/or water heater. See how household water systems work:

 

We do not recommend connecting water softeners in parallel. A parallel installation will double the amount of water that could be conditioned but the hardness will be unchanged. Visit GE Water Softeners
