Reverse Osmosis - Elements Removed

The SmartWater Premium Filtration Reverse Osmosis system reduces the following elements:

• Taste and odor caused by ammonia and chlorine
• Sediment caused by turbidity
• Lead
• Inorganic chemical contaminants, such as: barium, bicarbonate, bromide, cadmium, chloride, chromium 6 (referred to as a Hexavalent type of chromium), copper, fluoride, magnesium, nickel, selenium, sulfate, tannin,and zinc
• Nitrates
• Sodium

We cannot validate removal/reduction of elements that are not listed on the Performance Data Sheets (PDS). This includes elements such as uranium, sulfur, mercury, etc. For specific amounts review the performance data sheet found in the Owner's Manual.Download a copy of the Owner's Manual

Note: At this time, only certain reverse osmosis systems reduce Chromium 6. Refrigerator filters do not reduce Chromium 6.
