Upright & Chest Freezer - Adding a Door or Lid Lock

Do not drill holes in your upright or chest freezer to attach a clasp or lock. The freezer has sealed system tubing running completely around it and drilling any holes could possibly cause a puncture to one of those lines. A puncture of the sealed system tubing is non-repairable.
