Reversible Color Panels - 1988 and Older Dishwashers

Dishwashers manufactured up to 1988 had reversible color panels, which offered attractive decorating flexibility. The reversible color panel inserts were included in the front panel trim and had a different color on each side. Each side was a painted metal.

Panels were changed by removing the door side trim, sliding out the panels and replacing them with the desired color exposed. Lower access panels on some models needed to be removed from the dishwasher and the top trim removed to change the panels. Hotpoint dishwasher access panels were changed by removing the side trim. These panels do not fit all models during that time period, nor can they be used with newer models. For information about installing the panels, please consult the Owner's Manual for model specific information. Download a copy of the Owner's Manual
