Top Load Washer - Mini Quick Cycle

Some older Top Load washers that had a Mini-Basket also had a Mini Quick wash cycle. The Mini Quick cycle, on models so equipped, was designed to provide a complete washing cycle in the shortest possible time by washing, rinsing and spinning the clothes in approximately 14 minutes (plus fill time). It has been many years since we offered a washer with a Mini-Basket or the Mini Quick wash cycle.

Using the Mini Quick Cycle on a Top Load Washer

• Hotpoint models called the Mini Quick cycle the Rapid Wash cycle.
• Because this cycle is a short one for small loads, the Mini-Basket tub should be used for satisfactory results.
• The Mini-Basket System, which is no longer available, included a Mini-Basket Tub which was designed for items that required hand-washing. It required less detergent and used up to 40% less water than the small load setting.
