GE Appliances' Ultra Fabric Care SystemSome older GE washers and dryers have an Ultra Fabric Care System.  Proper fabric care is a delicate balancing act of three key elements:

• Clothing Care
• Washability
• Capacity

 

If any of these three elements is missing, then overall wash performance is affected. The GE Ultra Fabric Care System consists of 16 integrated features promoting outstanding clothing care.

 

In the Washer,this exclusive system consists of:

• SensorWash
• GentleWash
• ColorLogic
• • Color Logic is a feature found on GE Profile Performance washers and dryers to help take the guesswork out of doing laundry. Simply match the color-coded cycle buttons with their coordinating timer selections. ColorLogic selects the optimum water temperature, wash, and spin speeds to deliver the best care for each type of fabric. It is not a requirement that the color selections match up in order for the washer and/or dryer to work properly.

In the Dryer, this system consists of:

• SensorDry
• QuietDrum
• • The exterior of the drum has another piece of metal wrapped around the drum. This "layering" acts as a sound deadening material to make it the quietest dryer GE has ever made.
• ColorLogic
• • Color Logic is a feature found on GE Profile Performance washers and dryers to help take the guesswork out of doing laundry. Simply match the color-coded cycle buttons with their coordinating timer selections.
