Water Softener - Blue Indicator Light Flashing

Many of our Water Softener models have a blue indicator light on the control panel. This light indicates the operating status of the Water Softener.

Understanding the Indicator Light Function

• When the Softener has a steady blue light, it indicates that the appliance is working correctly.
• The light flashes when the Softener needs attention.

Examples of What May Cause the Indicator Light to Flash

• When Power has been interrupted.
• • Check the Present Time setting.
  • The controls may need to be programmed if a power outage occurred.
• Light flashes and Days to Empty flashes.
  • Check the salt level and add salt as needed.
• Light flashes and ERR is in the display.
  • Indicates an electrical problem with the system.
