AGA requires 7/16” of free area below the cooktop height. Make sure the wall coverings, countertop and cabinets around the cooktop can withstand heat up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit generated by the cooktop. Additionally, anything stored in the drawer must NOT be combustible.

Electric Cooktops

This clearance varies by model. Make sure the wall coverings, countertop and cabinets around the cooktop can withstand heat up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit generated by the cooktop. Additionally, anything stored in the drawer must NOT be combustible.
