Rating Plate Location on Older Washers

The rating plate contains important information, like your model and serial number, power ratings, and manufacturing location. The location of the rating plate varies depending on the product.

To find the rating plate on older Washers:

• 2006 - Current:  Locate Model and Serial Number 
• 1995 - 2005: Located either on the top right rear of the backsplash or the right hand side panel of the washer (as you face the front of the washer), near the front, and very close to the floor.
• For 1995 and newer compact washers: The rating tag is on the underside of the lid.
• For 1994 and older models: The rating tag is located on the left hand side panel of the washer (as you face the front of the washer), near the front, and very close to the floor.
