RCA Appliance - How to Determine the Age or Manufacture Date
RCA appliances have not been manufactured since the year 2002. Should you own an older RCA appliance, the chart below will enable you to identify the month and year it was manufactured.
Determining Manufacture Date
The manufacturing month and year is coded into the serial number (not the model number) of the appliance. Our serial numbers begin with two letters. The first letter identifies the month and the second letter identifies the year. The corresponding letters for months and years are in the chart below. For example, if the serial number begins with the letters "GA," the appliance was manufactured in either April of 1989 or April of 2001.
