Upright & Chest Freezer - Fast Freezing

Freezing is fast and efficient throughout an upright and chest freezer, but for fast or quick-freezing small amounts of food, place it in direct contact with any refrigerated surface. When fast or quick-freezing large amounts of food, turn the control to the highest setting such as 7, MAX or Coldest or press the yellow "fast freeze" switch on a model so equipped. Remember to return the temperature to the regular setting after the fast or quick-freezing is complete. Never freeze more than 15 pounds of food at one time.
