Advantium Oven - Electrical Requirements and Breaker Size

The electrical requirements for an Advantium oven are dependent upon whether it is a 120 Volt or 240 Volt model.

 

Determining the Electrical Requirements For an Advantium Oven

240 Volt Over-the-Range and Built-In Advantium Oven

  • Requires a 208/240 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 30 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse.
  • Should be on a dedicated circuit.
  • The outlet box should be located in the cabinet above the oven and away from any potential ducting.

120 Volt Over-the-Range and Built-In Advantium Oven

  • Requires a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse.
  • Should be on a dedicated circuit.
  • The outlet box should be located in the cabinet above the oven and away from any potential ducting.
