Water Softener - Drain Hose

The Water Softener comes with a flexible drain hose. A flexible drain hose is not allowed in all localities (check your plumbing codes). If local codes do not allow use of a flexible drain hose, a rigid valve drain run must be used. The drain hose will be under pressure when the unit is discharging. Use a hose clamp (included) to secure the drain hose in place and prevent "whipping" during regenerations/recharges.
