Top Freezer Refrigerator - Water on Floor, Repairing a Clogged Defrost Drain
If water appears on the floor in front of your refrigerator or under your vegetable bins once or twice a day, it could be due to a clog in the defrost drain tube. On some models, this can be a do-it-yourself fix.
Water under the vegetable pans is the usual evidence of a clogged defrost drain tube. Most top freezer models require some disassembly to access the defrost drain tube.
