QuickSet I Range Controls

QuickSet I Ranges have the following features:

  • Single Oven Control Knob with 360 Degree Rotation
  • Auto Self-Clean
  • Two-Step Self-Clean
  • Dual Element Bake
  • 12 Hour Automatic Oven Shutoff
  • Adjustable Thermostat
  • Pre-heat Light (glows when the oven reaches the selected temperature)

QuickSet I Operations:

Two-Step Clean:

  1. Latch the door.
  2. Turn the oven temperature knob to "auto self clean". The clean cycle is 4 hours and 20 minutes. This time includes the cool down time. The door remains locked until the time has expired.

Note: The "on" light and the "auto self-clean light" will flash at the end of the cycle to inform you that the cycle is complete and the door can be unlatched. The light will continue to flash until the door is unlatched and the control is turned to "off". There is no problem if the oven is not turned to "off" immediately, the range will not start another self-clean cycle.Setting the Oven for Bake/Broil:

  1. The oven temperature knob is accessible to turn right or left.
  2. Turn the knob to the desired temperature, you may choose from 170 degrees (Warm) to 550 degrees (Broil).
  3. The "pre-heat" light glows and the oven beeps five times when it reaches the selected temperature and remains on throughout the remainder of the cycle.
  4. The "oven on" light will glow continually any time the oven temperature knob is not in the "off" position and is set on a temperature of a function.

Note: When adjusting the oven temperature up or down after the original pre-heat has been reached, the pre-heat light will not go on and off. To reactivate the pre-heat light we would recommend that you turn the oven off and back on.Adjusting the Temperature (thermostat):

  1. Put the oven temperature knob in the "off" position.
  2. Pull the knob off by pulling straight out.
  3. Press and hold the hotter or cooler button (it may help to use the eraser end of a pencil to assist in depressing these buttons) for 5 seconds to make the oven 20 degrees F. hotter or 20 degrees F. cooler.
