Air Conditioner - Plug Type and Amps

Room Air Conditioners have four different power cord plug styles depending on the model. The plug type or style will be either Parallel, Perpendicular, Tandem or Large Tandem. The pictures below show what each plug type looks like as well as the typical voltage and amperage for the plug type.You can check the product Specs & Details tab for a specific model on our website for the plug type. Also, you can look at the Installation Instructions for the individual model's plug type and amperage.You must have the appropriate wall outlet to match the plug type on your air conditioner.
