Range Precise Digital Control System - Electronic Burner Controls
Precise Digital Control System: Provides consistent "No Pulse" burners. Electronic glass touch controls power the elements with even energy to get the element to temperature; the burners don't "pulse" on and off as with burners controled by knobs, which cycle on and off to maintain heat.
Like a dimmer switch on a light, the power is On consistantly.
- The power is reduced for lower settings.
- Even heat- no sudden heat spikes, no blinking red glow from the element below the ceramic cooktop.
- Settings:
-
- Hi = 100%
- 9 = 90%
- 8 = 70%
- 7 = 62%
- 6 = 55%
- 5 = 47%
- 4 = 39%
- 3 = 30%
- 2 = 22%
- Lo = 4%
Traditional cooktop controls (knobs to control burners) operate the same way when set at any level other than "High." The element cycles on at 100% full power for some length of time and then shuts off completely for a period of time.
- The cycle repeats itself as long as the burner is turned on.
- The lower the temperature setting, the shorter the time element is on at full power and the longer the power is off.
