All GE dryers are quiet by design because of:

• Teflon drum slides for quiet rotation (no noisy drum rollers)
• Permanently lubricated quiet motor
• Solid full floor to isolate sound inside

Dryer Quiet Packages on older models (prior to 2003):

Quiet Pack IComplete front panel insulation, top cover insulation and door sound reduction.

Deluxe PackageFiberglass insulation on the front panel with one piece of mastic on the front panel.

Quiet Pack II (Quiet By Design)Quiet Pack I plus motor isolation system, blower isolation system and side panel insulation.

Super PackageFiberglass insulation on the front panel and around the pump. It also includes 3 pieces of mastic - one on the front panel and one on each side panel.

Hush PackageFiberglass insulation on front panel,cabinet sides & rear and blower motor. It also includes 3 pieces of mastic - one on the front panel and one on each side panel.

Hush Quiet PlusSound dampening material, painted steel interior, Top and side dampening plates Quiet drum, card fabrication in door, motor isolators, door sound reduction, Duradrum interior, blower isolators, teflon front bearings.
