Microwave - Colon Blinks in Clock Display
The colon in between the numbers will blink continuously on the clock display of some microwave models. This is a normal part of the microwave design and cannot be changed.
Recognizing a Microwave Model Which Has a Blinking Colon In the Clock Display
Here is a list of models that have been confirmed to have this feature. These are the beginning letters and subsequent numbers for the models. There will be additional letters after the numerals.

Blinking Colon Only While Setting the Clock
For some models without this feature, the colon ( : ) will blink or flash when programming a new time of day; that is, while pressing the CLOCK pad and entering digits. After a valid time of day is entered and CLOCK or START pad has been pressed, the colon will stop flashing. Pressing CANCEL while programming the clock will return the display to the previously set time with a non-flashing colon.
