Washer - Water Shut-Off Location

Locate the incoming hot and cold water hoses behind the washer. One end of each hose is connected to the washer, while the other end is connected to a faucet that looks similar to an outside faucet. Turn the hot and the cold shut-off valves in a clockwise direction until they stop. This turns off the water to the washer.If the washer is leaking and you can't find the shut-off valves or they do not work, then turn off the water to the entire house. Locate the cold water pipe going into the hot water heater. Somewhere on that pipe should be the main shut-off valve. Turn the valve in a clockwise direction until it stops.
